She is a political and cultural advisor to academic delegations traveling to Iran and appears as a guest lecturer on current developments in the Middle East.
 
Her book, The Political Ideology of Ayatollah Khamenei: Out of the Mouth of the Supreme Leader of Iran (Routledge, 2015) was published as a volume in the UCLA Center for Middle East Development series.
