Egypt and Saudi Arabia Exchange Expertise about Human Rights

On 29 January 2020, Egypt and Saudi Arabia discussed exchanging expertise to protect human rights values.

The Head of the Egyptian National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), Mohammed Fayik, met a Saudi delegation, headed by Hisham Al-Ammar, of Saudi Arabia’s Human Rights Commission in Cairo to discuss human rights values and raise awareness around the topic.

Egyptian governmental sources reported that the Saudi delegation intended to have an idea of NCHR’s experiment in promoting human rights culture in accordance with enforced laws and regulations.
