Investment in building cinemas in Saudi Arabia is expected to generate $1.33 billion in 2020, according to data published ahead of Cinema Build KSA 2020, which takes place in Riyadh from 19-20 February 2020.

According to the data, 140 cinemas are planned to open in 30 malls throughout the Kingdom, creating estimated 5,300 jobs. It added that a total of 1,323 screens would be made available across the country, which dramatically increases demand for materials and resources to build cinemas.

The Saudi cinema industry is expected to see enormous growth with prospects of becoming a leader in the region.
